Location was COMFORTABLE, 25 km to Noi Bai International airport, perfectly reachable. We loved staying at thaison palace.

Location
dirty, noise, unprofessional.

Location
Terrible breakfast. Some annoying guys trying to sell halong bay packages all the time, bothering us a lot.

we could not fault this hotel, all the staff where very friendly and helpful

The staff at the Thai Son is so helpful, friendly and good natured. They work long shifts but are always pleasant and ready to help you with your needs. There is one fellow there (opens the door) who seems to always be there and he always is smiling--amazing. Most everyone speaks passable English which is helpful. It was cold outside but the welcome and feeling inside was warm.
Our room was on the top floor. Seemed like they hadn't quite finished the decoration. The towels and bath mat were clean but they were never really white. The laundry the hotel uses could get acquainted with oxygen bleach. Bathroom is serviceable but tiny--would not suit larger people.

location.
to much went wrong starting from them not having a room for us when we arrived and then admitting they lied to us and didn't tell us prior to us arriving that there would be no room for us in case we decided to stay somewhere else. It all went downhill from there.

This was the most perfect hotel we’ve ever stayed in during 3 weeks in Vietnam. Everything here was perfect. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. Good location, free internet, spacious and comfortable room with a king sized bed. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff recommended us a trip to Halong Bay with Golden Lotus and it was really excellent. If you visit Vietnam, you should do to Halong Bay with this boat. Highly recommend to you. We will certainly stay there again.
We found this hotel perfect so we do not have any problems with this lovely hotel.

Location is good. Staff is friendly.
The elevator did not smell good. The cleanness of the room is ok, but not great (esp. restroom). When we checked out, the staff said that we ate the snack, but we didn't. It was missing when we checked in. Both the hotel room and the lobby/breakfast room are a little too compact.

The hotel was amazing for the price we paid. Room was very spaciuos, clean and full of facilities such as: Flat TV, modern air-con, sofa, hot shower... Also the staff were absolutely the best staff member i have ever met at many hotels. Great hotel, i def plan to come back there again! I liked that there seemed to be a lot of younger people at hotel. We booked their trip to Halong Bay on Golden Lotus Cruise for 2 days and 1 night. The boat was really good and the sea food were excellent and we highly recommend it too.
Problems with function of flushing in toilet for the first day but quickly fixed it. Good service.

Clean rooms and strategic location. Value for money stay with pretty decent breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff, too.

We like this hotel and we will come back. This hotel is in a superb location, only 4 mins walk to Hoan Kiem lake, shopping center and the night market. Only 3 mins walk to Hanoi Opera House. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the view from our room was impressive. I thought the location was the big selling point of the hotel, and that's why I stayed there. Price-wise it was good, room decor was OK - increased to excellent I thought for the bathroom - and facilities in the hotel were also very good, including breakfast.
Wifi was slow for sometimes and only 1 guy working in day reception spoke English not so well.

We can give this 10/10 for this hotel as they has just been upgraded alot after half a year running. Now evrything was perfect. Nice manager from Singapore and he was so helpful. All other staff were very friendly and very professional. Breakfast now was very good but the seats were still not enough. Room was large and clean. Tv and Air-con were both good.
Seating not enough in restaurant.

We used this hotel for just 2 nights and very satisfied. We were luckily upgraded to a deluxe room without extra charge. The room was high floor and very quiet so we could sleep well. The location is excellent - close to many shopping centers and bus station. Furthermore, the staff were friendly and professional, doing their best to accommodate all requests. I would recommend all those staying at the Thaison 1 hotel to have the excellent breakfast. The rooms were well furnished. All in all an excellent hotel.
The guy seemed to be pushy with us to book their trip and finally we book the trip to Sapa with good quality.

Hotel staff always attentive and helpful. I would stay here again (just not on the street side of the hotel on the lower levels as traffic can become too loud).
The exercise of selling tours before we could even get to our room, after a long flight and commute from the airport it'd be nice to be able to check in first and then worry about booking tours. Wifi was a bit 'hit and miss', but worked fine the later part of our stay
